Damon Anderson, or Miri Dhaagan being his tribal name, is from the Gamilaroi, Kullilli, Bundjalung and Wakka Wakka. His clan groups played a big role in his cultural heritage making him the man he is today. He signs his work “Miri’’

Damon has completed a Bachelor in Arts and has been painting for over 20 years. He has done numerous activities in schools around the south east and south west Queensland including Naidoc week, and is one of many Indigenous Artists painting for Australian Authentic Dreamtime Art and continues to enjoy the exposure this gives him.
