Dean Tyson is from the Quandamooka tribe located in South East Queensland. Dean was taught to paint from his family members. Over time he has developed his own unique style of artwork. He predominately paints salt water animals and designs depicting his tribe. He loves painting as a form of relaxation and derives a lot of joy from sharing his cultural knowledge to others through the stories tells in his artwork.
