Our emu callers are traditionally handcrafted from Box and Grey Box hardwoods, two dense and durable native Australian timbers known for their strength, beautiful grain, and rich acoustic properties. Each caller is approximately 30 cm long and is shaped to produce a deep, throaty call that mimics the sound of the Australian emu.

Used in traditional practices for hunting and communication, emu callers work by amplifying low-frequency vibrations when gently struck or blown into, creating a sound that resembles an emu’s distinctive booming call.
